Which FMIC? Weighing up the options, custom?

Went for the above, thought £470 with the brackets and piping was a steal, along with a bigger depth intercooler than a few of the others. This arrived at mine this morning!

Am I right in saying i'll need some new turbo connector seals?

if im right in thinking, doesn't the airtec intercooler kit need a few more pipes to make it the "complete" fmic kit? in the pictures it looks like its missing the ones from map sensor to the inlet/egr

what pipes are you people using for this section?

Yep you're right it doesn't come with the top pipe as its made to fit the original one. Going to replace this soon enough I guess

a friend's looking at purchasing one soon and I get the job of fitting! =] lol

just wanted to know what pipes people we're using so I could order them for when the job is to be done, rather than fitting it all, finding what I need, ordering etc etc

Airtec looks nice mate, I've got all my own pipework for my cooler made up, using the same style cooler as you.

Did you get a logo on yours?

Just use the seals off the standard pipes that's what I did and it's been fine :)

I didn't get the logo on, as wanted it to be pretty stealthy plus I didn't think you'd be able to see the logo through my grill. Good shout, although my turbo to intercooler pipes seal is pretty shot so might be worth upgrading it anyway! I'm going to open the package more, haven't really looked at the cooler properly.

I've got a wide mouth so I'd get the logo, try and show it off a bit. Mine deffo gets a lot more attention now with the wide mouth :)

Did you get any discount on the kit?

Your wide mouth looks gorgeous too, love your car so much. I don't have the option of anything like that though :( (got an ibiza mk4 sport)

I ordered the kit from the eBay seller, TN tuning I think it's called. The guy was so so sooo helpful on the phone, really down to earth and gave me £20 off the eBay price (£495) so it went to £475 delivered. Just told him i'm a part of this forum and seatcupra.net etc. He then sent me an email confirming which kit i'd opted for, then followed by an invoice on Paypal after the confirmation.

Autospecialists also gave me a discount code but when totalling it up, postage killed it and it totalled at £485.
