Clutch advice needed asap

Featured Replies

Im looking for a decent solid flywheel / clutch set up for my stage 2 1.8t octy rs. Its buggered so will have to get one ordered tomorrow to be delivered Friday to get fitted over the weekend. Don't want to spend silly amounts but also worth getting something that will cope with a bit more power in the future if I keep her and my plans come off for hybrid or bigger snail shell ;-D any companies to avoid? Iv been looking at a kit on ebay sold by techniclutch for around 250 also a kit by darkside for about 290 iirc? Thanks in advance for any help

Check eurocarparts as well I'm running one of there smf kits I can't remember if it was luk or valeo but I can't fault it and it's coping with my stage 2 set up

Well I just bought a full VR6 clutch kit from Euro car parts online and delivered next day for £105.

I also found a 25% off voucher on line that will take the already discounted clutch kit to around £92 delivered which is unbelievable value

The clutch is a Sachs one too. Which I think is the same as the darkside kit use

I also have a spare brand new techni VR6 clutch going cheap if anyone wants it.

i am looking at the same thing at the moment, if your looking at that budget then awesome do a really good kit that you can select from a lightened fly and clutch kit everything is included, including the alingment tool for fitting clutch friction plate, or a similar kit is available from dark developments i think its called

cheers
