Boost pressure

Featured Replies

Well boost gauge all fitted and working so can anyone tell me what standard pressure should be? It peaks at 1.2 bar and holds it right to gear change. This seems a bit high to me does this suggest it's been remapped ?

Std is 9-10 psi

So yours does look tweaked !!

Right now I know that i think I best fix the leaking breather pipe and do a full service. At my boost pressure which I think converts to 17-18 psi would that be stage 1 remap ?

17-19 PSI probably comes out around 205-212 bhp, so it'd be a standard remap from one of the big players.

Cheers I thought it felt a bit quicker than my last vRS.

Sounds mapped, mines r-tech stage 1 mapped and is about 210 bhp and boost gauge shows 1.1-1.2 bar

Cheers Jimmy that's exactly what mine does 1.1-1.2 bar.

Standard overboost  0.8 bar and then holds 0.6 bar
