The one on top is mine lol, using 4mm silicone hose for the nipple. Nice tight fit ;)

mmm nice tight nipples excites me, a lot!

Is this that hard to fit?

Hopefully will see an improvement in MPG on mine...

Shouldn't be too difficult at all mate.

You'll need to chop your existing boost pipe though. If you want I could take loads of pics when I fit mine if it would help you? Let me know :)

Is the egr valve easy to fit then i aint having a nipple on mine.

Hi Dann2707,

Would appreciate that - do not want to mess it up, thats for sure!

Best,

Yes mate, to remove your current egr you have to remove 5 bolt in total. 3 5mm Allen key bolts that hold the Egr valve itself to the inlet manifold. These bolts are horizontally located and the heads point towards the offside and there are two larger 6mm bolts holding the egr pipe to the egr valve, these are vertically located and the heads point towards the ground. After that you have to remove the twovvacuum lines that go to the egr. Simply pull these off, no bolts necessary! I'm not too sure where the blanking plate goes though, whether it goes directly onto the manifold removing the egr pipe or if it goes onto the egr pipe? I assume the former!

Removal is easy it's just a bit fiddly, I found the best way to undo the bolts is with long Allen keys with ball ends to allow you to get into the right places, but use a ring key spanner to tighten the Allen key up. Pics definitely help!

No worries mate. Might be on Monday when I do mine though as the gf is over this weekend.

Forgot to say, the aforementioned two larger bolts on the EGR pipe have to be removed first in order to gain access to the remaining 3 EGR valve bolts!
