Hi all,

 

I'm looking to buy a 90 degree bend to fit this onto my car - not too thrilled about cutting the original pipe at the moment.

 

Can anyone advise where to get one from and what pipe plus parts to purchase for it to be installed?

 

Finally - is it safe to assume the EML will stay on until I get the car remapped...

i think id be right in assuming that you would be better off replacing all of the pipes down to the intercooler if you are wanting to avoid cutting the standard pipe. 

 

look in the fabia I section for my thread re how to secure a boost pipe, its pretty recent so just scroll down. someone has posted a link of the parts you need to do this.

Had a look at the thread - would definitely consider this, but it seems not all the links are working..

 

I've posted asking for an update, so will keep an eye for this and hopefully change the whole lot!

 

Would you know if the engine management light comes on after removing the EGR valve?

depends on the engine, if its ASZ, no. if its BLT, ive heard both yes and no. 

 

Having a light on means MOT failure now, but can be cleared when mapping, if that is on your agenda.

 

The silicone pipes can be sourced from ASH, the alloy one is a little more of a pain, but if you read the whole thread, if you can't find it on ebay, there is an email address soneone has posted and I have used and received a reply from.
