One of my Daylight running lights does not light up. Car under warranty and phoned garage.  They sad is a recall fault and there is a fault with these units.  Mine is 2012 build.  Thought others should know before there cars go out of warranty.

Is that a fault just on Superbs or also on Octavias?  My Octavia vRS is March 2012 which explains my interest, although DRLs so far OK.

The DRL's on your vRS are LED, they are normal bulbs on the Superb.

Interesting to see if they change them out for LEDs then. Will let Forum know after its been in for the "update".

No as the vRS uses LED light units and the Superb uses seperate bulbs, some of the early ones had condensation issues, this should not effect your car though.

 

Has the bulb simply blown?
