Featured Replies

i know cars dont last forever but was sad to hear that this car is being killed off after just 2 years (2003-2005):(

the car im talking about is the Dodge SRT-4 which im sure not many of yous have heard of but it was the car that got me into american cars and one of the best performance bargins of all time,0-60 in mid 5's 230bhp,250ibs of torque,160mph top speed and all for less that 20,000 USD which is around 10k here

but due to the new dodge neon coming out in 2006 they've had to kill it off :(

Was tempted by a lesser model Neon a couple of years ago, 2 litre engine sounded like it would be relatively powerful but changed my mind and bought an oldish Impreza GL instead. Always liked the look of the SRT4, interior looks great with the Nascar style-rev counter etc, never available over here though were they, or at least not through normal sources?

I didn't realise they did anything like the above.

I thought it was the Chrysler Neons that had the worst write ups I have ever seen and all car bods advised you to steer well clear. Is this a different car

very much so it went as far as it looked like a neon and that was pretty much it

I had the misfortune to drive a lesser spec Neon on holiday a fw years ago. It was the wost car I have ever driven.

I had a std 2.0l petrol Auto as a hire car in florida.

My wifes Smart was quicker away from the traffic lights, and we never went anywhere in a hurry. It was awful.

A guy I work with a Black Neon RT, the dealer put a sport pack on & chipped it to 180BHP, when he bought it.

I did look at the cost of importing one of these after I sold my M3. Having coped well with the LHD bit, I felt I could take advantage and buy a worthy LHD. But it was nearing top teens to have one delivered - which is a whole new ball game.

Personally, if they had sold that car here for

I looked into buying a Neon 3 years ago, but ended up buying the Fabia.
