My thoughts exactly! I did actually choose a different venue (Chequers at Sevenoaks) but no one seems bothered? I've seen this happen before with the Essex and East Sussex meets. People need definite dates and venues to work from in advance so that they can make proper diary decisions! Changing the venue each month to be in different areas is obviously a bit of a non starter (every motoring pun intended) so Pete and I have abandoned it. Next months meeting and all subsequent meetings will be back at the excellent Old Mill as recommended by LV herself :-) It will be on the 14th of May & booked for 20.15. If we can have an advanced show of hands the normal table for 10 should suffice. Of course this doesn't stop anyone having a get together tonight if they fancy but I'm going to be walking around my pram picking my toys up. ;-)

Tbh a mid week meet is pushing it anyway regardless of location - I have more flexibility at weekends.

Have fun and thanks for offering to move it this time, I wasn't aware chequers was offered as a firm alternative!
