Moving to East Sussex from Kent so I will be an extra half hour in the wrong direction after this month.

Someone pick - I'm really not too fussy just means I have to leave earlier the further away it is.

Just realised that I have a work meeting with the client in London which lasts until 5.00pm. Hoping to catch a train and being able to make it...!

Pete - suggestions? I'll drive + MrsGroup1RS + BCP (who has already called shotgun on all travel in my car) if it makes getting a decision easier!

 

Slotty - you can have a lift if you hold on to the roof rails  . Actually, you are only a thin stick so the middle seat should be OK for you

Oh, and no to the Harvey's pub in Chipstead - I've been told that parking is down a country lane :no: .

 

Chequers in Sevenoaks is easy to get to (there are some public car parks within walking distance if you don't want to park on the road), and if the dessert and beer were anything to go by, then the main course food should be OK.

 

Does it have to be a pub if TW???? :peek:

Is it actually in the Hop farm? I don't know if I've actually been to the pub in there but my experience of the place generally is lots of money for not much experience!

I vote Chequers Sevenoaks High St. The wrong doers used to be locked in their cellar before being hung in the alley way between the pub and the town hall. ..... So you'll need to behave yourselves! ;-)
