hi I would like to remove my door card as I had my window down the other day and I heard what sounded like me driving over a bit of metal only to fine my window wont go all the way down and when you put it up it tilts to the front of the car a bit, I believe this may be the runner from the window the car is a Octavia mk1 with leather trim and electric windows

First things first is you will need a whole new window kit (as I had this happen to my Octavia mark 1 window)

To remove the door card you have 3 torx across the bottom, 2 on either side, you need to prize out the electric mirror switch as there is a screw in there, the door handle cover pulls out backwards allowing you to remove the top plasic bit and there is 3 bolts in there
