Thinking of selling my octavia..

Went shooting yesterday (first time for 8 months)got it filthy dirty after spending Saturday polishing it..

Looks disgusting..I hate black cars,and have 2x up the drive.

Plus I've got a SEM intake to fit and just can't find the enthusiasm for doing it..

Maybe it's just the weather making it so hard to do stuff..always raining when at home,and dark when home now.

Keep thinking of a caddy van,with rear seats (need a 4 seater for kids)....

I'm in that zone at the moment too.  My little French car has gone all French on me in the last week.  It needs a new back axle & has developed a bugger of a misfire.  I've considered getting rid, but then I remember what it's like when I'm on the right road in the right weather and all is forgiven. 

One of my biggest automotive mistakes was getting rid of my Octavia vRS.  Think carefully before you do as a few on here have done the same & then bought another fairly quickly afterwards.

Nothing wrong with mine,I just get bored too easy..

Trouble is I always buy the best I can afford then end up regretting it,trying to keep it as mint as it was when I first bought it.

Had a Evo 8 before the octavia ,was a right proper show car,and had only covered 17k from new,never been used in the rain..I sold it because I was worried about leaving it anywhere,and was a nightmare trying to keep the bay mint,that and was a bit slow

Dunno,I might sell it after Christmas,not a lot of point in trying to sell it at this time of year.

I could break it,but honestly don't have the heart to do so.

I might feel different next week..just losing interest ATM.

I've never gone back to a car I've sold,so won't get another...could be temped by a mk3 Vrs diesel,almost bought one before the one I have now.

That's how I found the car in the first place..I wasn't looking for a mk1,but saw mine and fell in love..

If anyone wants a very good NOS kit ( purge valve,bottle blanket,bottle heater,WON maximiser with race,11lb bottle etc..let me know.(never used by me)

Again going to sell the SEM and RS4 throttle body with thermo gasket.

I keep getting this feeling but ive spent a small fortune on mine and its worth nothing,

Ive never really bonded with it but i know i will regret it if i sell it

Fair enough.The funny thing is I think the black vrs's out of all the vrs's look the best.

Hahaha, my car is so dirty I was even thinking of refurbing my wheels in matt black so as you don't notice the brake dust.
