Playing with the radio yesterday and I discovered that there is a setting called "GALA" which adjusts the sound volume according to vehicle speed!!!!!!

All very handy, then I started thinking.....................

How does my radio know how fast I'm driving ?????

The car radio receives pulses from the ABS sensors via the GALA pin on the headunit, it translates these into road speed.

I have this too but I'm not sure that it works

The faster you go, the louder the radio will play to combat road noise.

Just don't try and get to max volume, unless your on an Autobahn

press menu then SET. go through the options there.

No more channel hopping to dodge those annoying ads on commercial radio. Just plug in and listen to all your favourite toooons.

BTW  in the radio menu, settings, input  there is a setting for optimum performance from your input and even a setting to reduce the volume when you first turn on the radio, rather than blast your windows at top speed volume.

It works but I dont like it so I have it turned off
