When I spoke to SUK they said build time is only 23hrs.

Sorry this delivery nonsense is just too funny now, I was told by Skoda UK customer services last week that I should expect a 6 - 8 week delay on my car because of lane assist (standard spec) parts shortages....

 

Well done though, i'm impressed!

I wonder whether dealers have an allocation/quota which affects delivery times? I also wouldn't put it past some of them them delaying orders deliberately to help meet the following months/quarters targets if the current quotas have already been met or appear unachievable. Just saying it might not all be Skoda's fault.....

Just came off the phone with Skoda UK, who also mentioned the Lane Assist issue. My build date is next week, and he said to expect 6-8wks after that.

I totally agree with this - I have no idea who's telling porkies but someone is, it's just all very very strange.
