Space saver spare

Featured Replies

Have you all been contacted by Skoda to inform you that a space saver wheel, jack etc is now available for the whole range. It seems that since it was highlighted on "Watchdog " recently about many people being stranded due to the puncture being too big for the "gunk" to fix, the offer is available to all. I think it said sterting at £143.

Before the flak starts, I do know you could have ordered one anyway.

Does this include the 1.6 Greenline ?

Providing the boot well has the same dimensions as the rest of the range I cannot see why not.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that the extra weight would have pushed the emissions up taking it into the next tax category on this model.

Could be wrong.

Correct, but that only applies on first registration, and what you personally add to the car after that date is immaterial.

Did you read the last line of my post?????

I was sent a pretty card from Skoda with all this info on it, explaining it was since the "Watchdog" programme. And it's for the entire Skoda range not just Yeti's.

The spare wheel kit has always been available to buy from Skoda dealers or TPS.

Link with part No.s........

Was this option available from new on the Green line ?

Seem to remember when I was weighing up which model to go for the spare wheel was not available as a factory op.

I did note you were including all ranges.

Let me re phrase that then..... spare wheel kits for ALL Skoda models have been available from Skoda dealers and TPS.

I posted the link for Yeti spare wheel kit, as this IS the YETI section of the forum.

The Skoda sparewheel and boot floor fit perfectly OK in the Greenline.

I swopped mine over from my previous Yeti at the dealers on change over .
