You should try driving through Chester -- you can always tell whose local and whose tourist.

Most if not all roundabouts in Chester have traffic light control -- but if you time it right -- you can get through all of them without stopping -- but the timing is crucial.

First set at Police station -- trick is to hang back / wait when lights change - then your ok.But you do have to remember the light sequence is different for locals than tourist :rofl:

GREEN = GO

AMBER = Drop it a cog,foot down

AMBER & RED = Drop it 2 cogs,foot down

FULL RED = Oh **** -- too slow - waister

FLASHING AMBER = Select first & GO,GO,GO

GREEN = Did you stall it ????

Of course there is a VERY fine line when it comes to red lights -- most lights in Chester have a good margin -- but then of course if you are against a fellow local -- they are already going -- does create some interesting situations -- but then if the lights were programmed differently - you would do it -- cos there would be no benefit -- my journey to work involves 10 sets in less than 2 miles !!
