Thinking of buying new Octavia - advice please?

Featured Replies

Hi guys, currently I have an 07 2.0 FSI L&K. I love it but might have to change due to my wife needing an automatic.

The features I love are the power, performance, memory seats, cruise control, parking sensors and Xenon lights. P

Please advise on the best car to have all these features.

I have looked at the Audi A6, but the new Octavia receives excellent reviews and we have been very pleased with our current model.

New wife?

Seriously, the new Octavia has had rave reviews.  Just bear in mind that any new model often has teething troubles in its first year or so of production, so you may get some recalls or niggles.

Just get another L&K, except this time go for the facelift with DSG (automatic)...

You'll end up looking at alternatives for ages and always end up back at the Octavia when you realise how good value it is, especially if you want all the toys that you are used to.

If you still need petrol then this one looks nice...

+1

I'm not sure when/if the Mk3 will be available in L&K trim. Probably another year or so. An Audi A6 with the same equipment as the L&K will cost you £££ more.

If you have your heart set on the Audi A6, then look at the Superb. They are basically the same car and are available in L&K trim.......and they are very nice.
