Jack for the Yeti Part No. 1T0011031C

Featured Replies

I'd be grateful for some advice from the forum.  I've decided to buy a jack for my SE 110 4x4 (obviously no spare wheel). Not easy to find a Yeti Jack at a sensible price but there are lots of Octavia jacks on ebay.  Will one of those do the job?

Many thanks in advance........

Seen a yeti jack for £32. Part numbers vary per each model so I reckon the differences mean they wont all fit. or lift high enough.

Part VAG 1T0 011 031 D BN3 lists VW Touran, Seat Altea, Skoda Octavia Scout, and Yeti. What I have been supplied with with my spare option.

I kept the jack from my 1998 VW Passat when I put it in under the Scrappage scheme In 2009.  It fitted the in the proper place in the boot perfectly!

Find a VW/Audi/Skoda/Seat car jack in a breakers yard and see if it fits in the proper place in the boot.

Thanks Tom for the response. I guess this is my real question - does the Passat jack lift the Yeti enough to get the wheel off? Has anyone else tried another VAG jack on the Yeti. II've not bought anything yet as I concerned that an Octavia or other VAG jack will not have enough height as per RickT's comment. The Octavia part number has the letters 'LO' in it - a bit of a concern. Any ideas out there?

My one lifts the Yeti OK.  If you go to a breakers ask them if you can try it?
