As of late I get some knocking from the front when I go over bumps and like a judder through the steering wheel. The car is standard 01 plate vrs. What sort of bushes are required? And is it a big job. Cheers dudes

I replaced the bushes on my TDi on the wishbones because I was getting a knocking when going over speed bumps - it cured it.  Only get a judder under braking so I am blaming the disks for that (ECP disks seem to be crap for doing this).

 

You will need a press to get the new ones in.  Some people buy new wishbones with bushes, but I didn't  instead I borrowed a press off a mate.  If you have the wishbones off it is worth changing both bushes on each side.  You might want to get a tracking check afterwards too just to keep tyre wear healthy.
