Lane Assist & Bluetooth music?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

So last night for the first time I turned on my lane assist (thought I'd better try it out) and was not a bad tool, esp when its pouring with rain, dark and there is a lot of spray from other vehicles making the road markings hard to see.

This morning I thought I would have another little play with it. Turned it on, all fine until I tried to skip a track. Steering wheel controls would not skip forward or backwards. Amundsen unit would not skip forward or back (despite it showing I pressed the button as they show green when you press them). Turned lane control off - made no difference. Could only skip the track manually using my iphone (which is connected via bluetooth)

I tried this a few times to no avail. Sometimes after manually skipping the track I could skip further tracks via the steering wheel, but other times I still couldnt.

Tried turning the car off, removing the key and turning back on again - same thing.

However Im sure I was skipping tracks while lane assist was activated last night so I cant work out why it wont do it now. Anyone else found this?

And before a certain person pipes up :D - no I dont know what the manual says about it and I cant read it right now cos Im at work lol ;)

I thought you had Mitsumi on yours?

No one? :(

Well if it's of any help - I checked the manual and found no answer to your problem   :notme:

At least I tried. It's something  :giggle:

Not had a problem with mine.

How do you skip tracks? Roller thing on the right or left/right buttons on the right of the wheel?

Do u have password protection when the iPhone goes in sleep?

If so - Have you tried disable that? Or change it for not demanding pass for 5-20min..

It might be that otherwise try remove the handshake between phone and stereo and reconnect it again.
