Citigo Greentech or Fabia 1.2 Greenline? Opinion?

It looks like it's going to be an Elegance GreenTech for sure.  Missus would rather wait and have what she wants - so we'll go test drive one and then pick a colour!

Thanks for your assistance so far everyone.  The Forum rules.

my daughter ordered a 60 greentech beginning of September, projected date for that is mid feb

Is that build or delivery? I ordered on 8th October and am expecting delivery mid to end of February.

White and Red are free.

I personally find it hard to stomach the cost of metallic paint on the Citigo when it's such a high percentage of the total cost.

The metallic paint on a far larger car like a Superb was exactly the same when I bought mine...

OK on a £20k+ car, but on a £10k car that's 5% just for a bit of metal flake in the paint!

White and Red are free.

Which is probably why the only Citigos I see around Leicester are red or white.

My van is red so I've discounted that as it'll make my driveway look like a Royal Mail sorting office.  As I've never liked white cars, I've gone for black.

I had this discussion with the dealer when we bought our Citigo, the price of metallic paint was exactly the same for every Skoda model, which means it is cheap for the Superb but very expensive for the Citigo. Mrs greenstripe always wanted a green car and she wanted all the toys.

Spring green does seem to suit the Citigo, I must say

First one I ever saw was in Green, and I thought how nice it looked (especially with the black alloys)

It was in our local shopping centre, so I took a pic

Part of me wishes the Citigo-go was that green colour as it does look nice in the metal.

It was ex-demo so I went for silver to blend in.

I'm sure that metallic paint is going to account for less than 5% of the Citigo-go's cost Richard -Surely it'll be needing a respray anyway
