It is a 150ps elegance model with 18 inch wheels, sports suspension and sunset glass. Pick it up next week. Just need to order some winter tyres. I have been driving 4x4s for the last 15 years so it should be an interesting winter... !!!!

Enjoy the increase in mpg too!

Went for a drive in the car around town for about 30 mins , showing 41mpg on computer. Jeep does about 20 around town. I do about 25k miles a year, savings will be about £3K !!!!!

Insurance is half the price of the Jeep and I save £245 on road tax. Just hope I get up and down all the hills here...!!!

Enjoy your new motor and the extra £s in your pocket

Looks good!

But why didn't you get a 4x4 version?  OK, slightly more expensive, slightly thirstier and you would miss some of the Elegance toys - but still far more economical than the Jeep, and you'd almost get the best of both worlds!

The 4 X 4 is very basic, if they did one in Elegance trim I would have one straight away. I looked a new 4x4 at a dealers, inside it looked like a base model  Mk1

Skoda Uk are missing out on sales I am sure. Everyone who wants a 4 x 4 is not a farmer ! and as I have found out the true cost of running a 4x4 is very expensive.

We only need the 4x4 bit for a couple of weeks a year so the haldex system makes good sense.

One day they might bring my ideal model out........ also folding mirrors on the VSR........Do you think Skoda UK browse this forum.....lol

Would disagree with the above, as personally I'm more than happy to switch from our current Yeti Elegance to the SE Octy III 4x4. Although I would have probably gone Elegance spec had it been available, as there are a couple of features I'm adding to the SE which are standard on the higher trim.

Great buy!

If you're worried about the hills on those few days a year with snow and ice, buy a set of steels with winter tyres. Should be about £450 with 16" wheels.

Will give you better traction that 4WD with 'normal' rubber.

Enjoy your new car!

We too are saving lots compared to our old evoque like £500 a month all told I simply can't believe how much we were paying for the bloody evoque

Bought a set of alloys and winter tyres for £812 delivered they will last 3 years I hope thus saving on summer tyres plus lots safer also so I think win win

looking for a winter tyres deal. I would prefer alloys but steels would be ok. Will go for the continental 850 tyres just need to find a good wheel/tyre deal.

I dont want to be faffing about with getting tyres fitted on wheels and all the driving about that involves.

Chunkstar where did you get your wheels/tyres from ?
