Fatigue Detection Rest Assist, anyone have it?

I've been looking into this, since the Golfman-option doesn't work out for me.

So far I've found some info online. They talk about retrofitting the 7N0 907 530 AK Canbus gateway, the Z01 type (NOT Z00)

About the "flashing"; (MKE = "Mudigkeitserkennung" )

So you need to have a gateway with the right SW version, they also talk of the Clima panel and the steering module...I think there might be a difference between the sleep timer (LOW) and the sleep detection incl. lane assist (HIGH)?

The search continues...

I noticed the fatigue option in VCDS is set to on on my blackline but there is a disclaimer that state it has to have the right software.

Interesting...after someone did a succesfull retrofit;

and

MJ2012 Kombiinstrument,

Neueste Software Lenkunterstüzung

Und neues Can Gateway.

So it looks like you need a dialcluster that supports it, your steering module needs to be flashed, and you need a gateway that supports it (7N0 907 530AK - Z01)

And again;

I had a 7N0907530AN gateway without MKE (Fatigue detection) and flashed it

Now has Fatigue Detection

Did you do the flash yourself Eddie? Mighty tempted as the AN units aren't expensive...

I did flash it myself

Excellent, then I'll pick on up and add it to the list of things I should come see you for :)
