The kids prefer the Octavia to the A4

Featured Replies

Our 2 girls are 8 and 10 and do get sick of me changing cars all of the time, but apart from them commenting on the heated rear seats, they generally aren't bothered. But tonight they both said there was more room in the back of the Octavia than the a4 avant we had last weekend.

The boot certainly swallowed a trolley full at Costco too this evening, which included the obligatory bottles of whiskey for our resellers, and some Xmas puds we plan on giving away during December.

The more I use this car, the more I'm pleased I went for this over the Leon or Golf :)

Hang on, you have heated rear seats?? I didn't think they were available in the uk!

Sorry I meant the a7 had them

Don't you mean the rs4 you had at the weekend? How was it? Size isn't everything when the rs4 trumps the vRS for everything else. Well, except for co2 emissions and economy, but who cares when you're having so much fun in the rs4?!?

It was a 2.0 150 TDI, the rs4 lands in 4 weeks :)

Sweet. Perfect chrimbo present. Enjoy.

As you know Andrew I had a new RS4 for a weekend last month and absolutely loved it.

However when my 13 year old saw it - Sepang blue, 20" rotors, Sports pack, White Supersports leather seats, what did she say?

'I'm not getting in that! its ugly'

I looked at this thing of beauty, the car of my dreams and then looked back at my daughter and said 'think you'll be riding your bike a lot then'.

Just shows that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
