Hi I was wondering would 205/55/16 series tyres fit a fabia vrs or has anyone tried them on? Regards Whitey

They are a bit too big and will cause your speedo to under read by 6.5%.  A car speedo shouldn't under read

Cheers Sparkly, I'm having problems getting 205/45/16 winter tyres and 205/55/16 seem to be a common size 

try 195/50/16

 

I have the Nankang SV2's in this size, from mytyres they were £50.00 a corner.

 

They will give less than 1% speedo error

 

Tiny loss of tread width, bit of a gain in sidewall, just what you need for winter.
