If you have a service done a few weeks after it was due, does this invalidate the warranty?

Not in my experience.

 

Our VAG company cars can cover up to 1,500 miles/week and are often left a good few weeks before an appointment is available.

If you read the small print in the guarantee it gives you a mileage you can exceed that set for your service without invalidating your warranty, if you go over the that mileage you invalidate your warranty.

I would assume that there are some criteria for time, but I don't recall reading them
