The Fastest Car IN THE WORLD!

Featured Replies

For the Next week (until my Fabby is repaired) I am the proud(ish) owner of 'The Fastest Car in the World' (I know that refers to a Hire Car!, but a Courtesy Car is sort of the same!! :giggle: )

Just been for a little bomb round the block to get some diesesal! and it don't half sift!! :D

Some weirdness (well it is a Citroen!) the Seatbelt is miles away I have to physically turn in my seat to get hold if it! and the Gear stick feels veeeery light!...

But otherwise I'm quite a nice little car (it's very stumpy compared to my Greenline Estate!!)  :p

  • They do say "Ignorance is bliss" If I thought that the quality of the DS3 was worse than our Fabia II vRS, it was replacing, then we would never had bought it The Fabia had more rattles than Motherc

Or a hire van!

Have you ever driven a 2-door before? (or a 3-door hatch) The seatbelt top mounting in them is always comparitively far back, because the front door is longer than on a 4 door.

Until the lack of servicing takes a toll...

Don't forget the clutch does need to be used on a hire car, it's only there for show

We have a 155bhp Sport version DS3

Its a great car

Well built, rattle free and holds the road far better than the Fabia vRS did, if not quite as quick

Blimey companies have upped their game- last hire car I ended up with was an 02 plate Almera which even though new, was utter cack. They're supposed to be belting little motors those DS3s

I don't think it's shiny enough. I'd try harder Chris if I were you.

I have to ask this, but what the hell is that carport thing that has no roof actually supposed to be?

Also what is that white monstrosity underneath it?

A mate of mine had one of those as a courtesy car from Citroen while his C1 was getting a new engine under warranty, same colour, but with pink mirrors and roof

Its an arbour and the white thing, absolutely no idea.

Not ignorant

I wouldn't buy a french / korean / ford / vauxhall if my life depended on it

Hatefull hatefull motors

Sorry

Who would have believed that in 2013 cars built in Spain & Brataslava Slovakia,

would still be desirable to many,  & in some cases built with more care and attention,

and considered better value to some from Germany,  CZ,  Bulgaria. Belgium, Shanghai  etc.

george

Its just the overall quality

Mainly on the interior, cheap nasty horrible plastics / switches / buttons etc.

German cars are by far the nicest places to be. Obviously comes at a price but if your frugal enough a new skoda / seat wipes the floor with and french / korean offering

You clearly have not looked at the Citroen DS3 :wall:

You've not sat in the new Octy 3 then. They've clearly downgraded the interior plastics compared to my FL and of course, upped the price by quite a chunk.

Or has Big Jase being looking closely it seems, at the South Korean, Asian & other Manufacturers products being Designed & built at Headquarters & Plants in Germany, Hungary, Slovakia, CZ etc.

simples really to climb in the Interior of a £24,000 Kia/Hyundai,

then a £24,000 Audi, VW or Skoda, Seat ,  of a similar class & performance & Compare.

Or just ones at around £16,000 might be a better and obvious comparison..

Its in the same league as a fiesta / corsa imo

My boss has just bought a top of the range nissan navara pickup

Yes they are trying but the quality just isn't there

My mate spent 25k on a focus rs, yet again the quality is atrocious

Had a rental new gen focus! Omg its horrible. Also had a fiat 500, fiat panda, fiat bravo! Yes they are trying again with bluetooth etc but they are just crap.

Any peugeot / citroen i've had the displeasure of being in is horrible too
