Yeah I know! I've got work on Monday too so that's gonna be the longest Monday ever!

I'm surprised it's ready that quick tbf.. it was only shipped on Sunday (I think) just gone.

Just called my current insurer to change my car - they can't insure it due to my age and it being a 'performance vehicle' Got a refund of £126 (I'm only 30 days into a new policy) and a new quote elsewhere which is cheaper anyway. Happy Friday.

My race blue TSi Hatch has been in the compound in Emden for a week and a half, but shares your build week.

 

Information suggests the backlog at Emden is due to storm damaged vehicles being inspected.

Nickh it's with Rescue My Car (they were the top quote on Confused.com). Probably not the best but I've got the legal cover etc with Skoda Ensurance so the two coupled together shouldn't give me any problems.

 

longmynd - I ordered it back in August and was expecting it at the beginning of Nov. After seeing various threads on here regarding the hatch I told the Mrs I'd be happy it we had it before Xmas!!

 

thebigred - Cheers, I've just commented on your post on delivery times. Yeah really enjoying her, done 380miles already and I've only had her since 27th Nov. Really smooth and comfy, but quick too. Several A4's, Passat's and 17 year-olds in their Saxo's put in their place over the weekend! :giggle:

 

My boss has ordered an A5 Quattro 177ps which should be here soon. He's said we'll have a race when it comes.....wonder who'll win that one.
