Power is removed from the lamp driver circuit after about 10 minutes - same time at which it is no longer possible to use the switches to open or close the windows. See my post #17. The dim led when off is not just a car problem but many other LEDs in industry when driven by Fets and transistor driver chips that leave a residual leakage current.
