Featured Replies

Hi there new member today recently purchased a fabia mk1 vrs 1.9tdi ASZ engine Code on an 04 plate looking to do quite a few mods to it currently standard apart from a remap according to previous owner no dyno printout but the car is pretty quick what tasteful engine mods can I get done obviously nothing to serious at the moment can anyone give me any info on what route to take and also want a leather interior as I've been quoted £1500 for a seat retrim but thought I would try and get hold of a second hand interior before spending money on a retrim currently have the white and black vrs seats I have wet vacced them but don't stay clean for very long plus the the drivers seat has the usual bolster damage any help/hints/tips would be great

Thanks

Steve

Welcome to the Forum Steve,

Yo'll probably get more replies if you have a look/post in the Fabia I /performance upgrade/styling and care sub-forums etc as appropriate

Thanks for the reply ade :)

Hi and welcome aboard.

Welcome.

Actually in Manchester mate or outskirts? I'm in Wigan.

Welcome!

The easiest way to keep the seats clean is to just not eat in the car!

If yo can't do that then Aerospace 303 protectant is a Teflon coating for fabric that works better than leaving them untreated, but obviously it can't work miracles.

£1500 is OUTRAGEOUS for leather trim. Contact Seat Surgeons in York. Yes, it's 100 miles each way, but it'll be £800-£900 for a retrim in your choice of colour and finish. Haggle hard and offering cash seems to be a good way to get the price down.

Welcome 1500 does em very expensive. Shop around.
