Citigo display icons?

Featured Replies

Hi I have my citigo for 5 days and have yet to find out what 2 icons mean on The display under the speedo when you switch on the ignition near the odometer that go off shortly after moving off ,any ideas? .I have looked at the handbook and have probably missed it .there speaks someone only looks at instructions if he can't get it to work lol

well i after reading the handbook  i can answer my own post its the rear seat belt warning  system.lol

And they show the seat belt crossed (fastened position) when the back seats are ocuppied and belt(s) on. If the back seat passengers unclips the belt it alerts by flashing or the icon coming on if I remember correctly. All mod cons in these little cars.

Thanks for info.As you say  all mod cons in little cars and clever as well.

Thats a bit OTT really - surely the "money" spent on the sensors for that little feature would have been better spent on something else... eg heated door mirrors across the range, or one touch elec windows!

Agree on one touch windows ,and I would want cruise control as well but as mine was a preregistration so no choice on that score.

Totally agree there and illuminated switches too.

So the sport has rear seatbelt sensors?! Is that to top it off for the euro ncap 5 star rating?

No way!! Which switches aren't illuminated?

My crappy old van has no illumination on the heater controls

but I'd expect a new car of the current age to have illuminated everything....

I've been in a brand new Hyundai i30... courtesy car for work...lovely   that didn't have illuminated switches either for the windows. Couldn't understand it. Their not exactly a low price!

The only thing I miss which has always been in any car I've owned for at least the last 15 years (and probably a lot earlier than that) are one touch window switches and also being able to control the passenger window from the drivers seat.

After all though I suppose it's a cheaper city car so if you want further luxuries you have to pay for it. Cruise control on a city car, hmm really needed?

The window switches and central locking switch aren't illuminated on the drivers door :(

Also no one touch windows up,no glovebox light and no bootlight.

I cured the boot light problem with a cheap WILKOS led torch for £2.50 and just leave it hanging from parcel hooks . You miss some off these things but the joy of heated seats will be great this morning !!

Absolutely needed - just clicked over 11,500 miles in 5 months yesterday and would have hated that without Cruise.  Don't get too hung up on the 'City/Citi' word, its a great long distance motor! ;-)

Yep I know it's good for long distance done a few myself, but in the main a city car really.

Love motorway driving in the Citigo. It's more comfy and quiet compared to my Octy.

I don't need illuminations, I have night vision. I can see Swmbo in the dark, frightening
