Hi my mate has a 52 plate laurin & klement estate and he has lost the key , he asked the AA and they said put a back feed on to the horn which would bring on the engine light then he lost me .He is a mechanic anybody offer any advice on how to get into it

If the only key has been lost, you will need to get the car recovered to a dealer, prove you own the car and get them to order a new key based on the VIN.

Ring the AA and ask for key assist they'll cut and code a key on site price is about the same as dealer.

We paid £160 for a mobile guy to cut and code a key.

Called him at 9pm, he arrived at 10am the following day.

He got in and removed the barrell and is sending it down south they will cut new key to suit barrell then send it back up to be re -coded . He tried the dealer route but felt it was ridiculous money and much longer to get it done. thanks for the replies.
