Yeti Welsh Adventure 2014

Can ex-Yeti owners join in?

If so, depending on the date, I might be able to join in......

Do Freelanders drown as easily as Yetis?  :hi:

Fred

I guess you meant as long as they don't worry the flurry. As there will be more than one Yeti.

Johann, they should all be fine in the presence of the Yeti whisperer after all we don't want them to attack either  :giggle:

From experience, no!

I've had water over the bonnet for a very short time in a diesel Freelander, and the approved fording depth is much higher on a Freelander.

The first Yeti Welsh Adventure was led by me in my old red Freelander.

Dogs; it depends on when it is held and exactly where. One route I am looking at I would NOT allow them, on leads or not. Sorry.

One thing that may be possible, due to the amount of interest, would be to split into 2 groups. One being "adventurous" and one suitable for others. Whatever happens I will be abiding by the Green Lane Code on the numbers in each convoy.

Sounds pretty good to me - all abilities catered for. All we need now is decent weather to compliment Graham's efforts.

As soon as there's a date we can book it!  :rain:

Yeti's drown quite easily as I discovered 2 years ago  water came over the bonnet.

The DSG when it does into limp home mode has the option of 1st or 1st. So I had to carry on......... and drive off Salisbury Plains in 1st gear, and then call Skoda Assist, who plugged into his computer, cleared the fault codes and it was fine until I sold it 18 months later.

We suspect some water touched a sensor somewhere.....
