Couple of things I would like to know if possible with VCDS on my 2009 FL Octy vRS.

 

Is it possible to make door mirrors close automatically when you lock the car?

 

and secondly as my car is LHD and I come to the Uk often is there a way to alter the Xenon headlights.

It is possible to have the mirrors fold automatically.... but you need a couple of relays, a wiring loom and have to remove both door cards to do it.

As for the xenons, do you have full maxidot?

In the UK we get a 'tourist' setting in the maxidot which 'flat beams' the kick up of the lights which means they do not blind oncoming traffic when you drive on the opposite side of the road.

Yep in the maxi dot, under lights and vision. ( think it's called that ) put a tick in the box ( tourist ) and I think you will get a bulb flash a few times in the dash display to tell you it's been activated
