I've never really understood the fashion for heavily tinted windows.  My daughter's Mini-cooper had heavily tinted rear side windows and it made reversing round a corner fraught with danger.  Heavily tinted side windows on a dark coloured car look strange to me - if I wanted a van I would buy one!

 

To me maximum possible vision is far more important than 'a styling look'.

 

Still, if you like it, and its within legal limits, then go for it.  Just don't scrape down the side of my car when reversing in a car park!

I don't have a side on pic, but you can see the difference in colour on the seats in the back.

The optional sunset glass is a very light tint, from the inside it's hardly noticeable.

Sunset wasn't dark enough for my taste so we went tints.

Not too dark mind you but from inside it isn't dark

If you have young children, tinted / sunset glass is a godsend, definitely preferable to ugly stick on shades!

I must admit it is not as dark as I expected it to be. It's more of a green tint, but it does take the glare out of the kids eyes.

The idea of getting tinted glass has had to go on hold for at least 2 months as I've just had to fork out £700 for spectacles (two sets, thanks to work.)  , so tinted glass comes way down the list of priorities, as insurance will appear by the time I've paid for the specs. 

I ordered it, dealer didnt spec it :(

 

So they are retro fitting and paying for it to be done. Going slightly darker than skoda I think. Will finish the look of nice I reckon (suppose thats why I specc'd it in the first place!).
