colour maxidot

What does this get you and is it worth the upgrade?

Thoughts please

Colour, and yes if you have Satnav.

Without Satnav, not sure what you gain, but for the small cost it makes the dashboard look a lot more modern.

What if you have satnav and monochrome maxidot - what, apart from colour, are you missing out on?

Colour, that is it. The satnav directional arrows and graphics in general look a lot better in colour.

As far as I am aware there is no difference in functionality. For the cost, I would spec it as it makes the dash look better.

I added this option to our SE we have on order, purely as it looks more upto date and in keeping with the infomat central display. Don't have nav or park assist but I still thought it worth having over the B & W graphics.

If you had the choice would you still buy a black and white TV?

Its not a lot of money extra and it looks so much better, even with the sparse use of colour.

It adds a bit of colour to the lane assist as well I believe. But if it's only £80 why don't they just make it a standard fit across all the models and add £30 to the basic price?

I have the choice, and I would prefer the monochrome maxidot - as long so I don't miss out on function.

I can see the colour one being useful for sat nav but I actually prefer the black and one, it's more in keeping with the rest of the instruments, white on a black background.

.... Or just get your dealer to add it FOC at the very last minute as you are signing :-)
