Battery disconnect

Featured Replies

This might be a silly question but...

I've got a Parrot 3100 Bluetooth thingy on my 2009 vrs. It seems to have crashed and is stuck on the 'Goodbye' screen. I've tried the reset procedure and it doesn't work. I'm thinking about disconnecting the battery to reset it. Anything I should be aware of that could stop working (eg the Columbus).

Thanks in advance.

It may reset settings in maxidot if you have it. There isnt any harm in disconnecting it, that is the standard advice for doing anything to your car according to haynes

I do have maxidot. So it'll just reset the long term trip info? No great loss.

when disconnecting mine it just reset maxidot to the default settings

Why not pull the fuse to the Parrot?

If you know where the blue control box is you can pull the power cable .

I had a wee google search and that seems to be the first port of call.

Hope you get it sorted

Cheers whoosh

Thanks woosh. No idea where the box is as I bought the car with it already installed.

Pulled the radio fuse out for a few seconds. Sorted. :)
