Alright lads/ladies, just wondering if anyone knows what this Hot Start Fix is that u can get along with the re-maps they sell? Cheers

Also my Vrs has almost not started couple of times when hot so this meant to fix that?

They adjust the programing of the ECU just like a remap but they also consider the reason for the hot start problem when adjusting the air/ fuel ratio when hot or when hot + starting.

So the intermittent hot start fault could be due to the ECU under fuelling when hot in certain conditions. By adjusting the fueling by playing whith the ECU programing you can elliminate the hot start issues some PDs have.

Compared to straight performance remap where the fuel/ air mix + various other factors are adjusted for performance gains only. Or the economy remaps where MPG gains are achieved.

Most custom mappers can sort it when you have your map done for a little extra cash. Dont think there is a plug + play map that sorts hot starting but dont hold me to that
