Some one much more clever will be along soon to help out with the wellycooler questions

Hi

Going stage 2 after christmas,  also bought a welly cooler and will be going to clive @cn tuning for fitting as i want welded pipe where possible, just waiting on a email as regards price etc but the guy has a real good rep on here.

I hope so :) I'll be doing it myself.. but any info on pipes would be helpful

Plumbing a Welly cooler with silicone bends alone and odds and ends of ally pipe looks a bit messy, also the large number of joins leave the boost run prone to leaks and inefficient in terms of losing flow!

I did mine with a custom top boost hose that runs from the turbo and tucks in front of the battery. From this point it's all ASH silicone hoses in 76mm with a couple of 63-76mm reducing bends, some 90deg and 45deg!

Sorry if that's not much help,I'll get a list together tmrw some time,I'll be under the bonnet all day tmrw anyway ;-(

Thanks vrsmark... I just want it to look tidy and not cause boost leaks, so any pictures and exact pipes would be ever so helpful :) taking the car off the road to do this anyway, so the more information I have regarding pipes, the faster ill be back chewing up tarmac ;)

If you call Clive at cn tuning he was going to make a kit for the wellycooler, not sure if he ever got around to it.
