I have a MK1 VRS and i'm looking at insurance policies and got stuck with the security stem classification. Now on my old Ibiza cupra it had seat security system 1 i believe (double door locks, alarm immobilizer etc etc).

 

So what does the MK1 VRS have is it one or two or neither?

Octy vrs (by standard) will have an immobilizer and deadlocks.  Alarm was optional dealer fit extra or a 3rd party addon.

Cat 2 immob IIRC.

Yep, it's a factory fitted Cat 2 immobiliser as standard.  An alarm was an optional extra, but most don't seem to have one.
