1) When I unlock the car the boot doesn't unlock at the same time even if I press the button twice. Is this normal? Works fine with the boot button.

2) Is there a menu on the maxi dot to adjust things? If so how do I access it?

Not sure about maxi dot but I got fed up with the single/double click mode for the boot which worked very randomanly, and  got it changed to one click unlocks all using another members VCDS.

Thanks Paddy im in the local Skoda dealer on Friday getting the wind noise looked at under warranty. Will speak nicely too the service manager and see if I can get it changed. Does the boot only function still work and the open and close window?

Does the boot have a key operated lock? On my old B5 Passat the key lock slot had to be vertical for the c/l to work on the tailgate, if horizontal it stayed locked and had to be opened using the physical key. It was to stop people opening your boot at traffic lights and running off with your welly boots and empty de-icer cans!

There isnt a key. In maxi dot you can set the car to lock when you start driving so no worries, your wellies are safe

No there isn't a lock. Ryan how do you access the settings on maxi dot?

yes J306TD boot button still works and open and close windows.

Not sure what the answer is there, my boot unlocks with the doors, I expect the options are more detailed in VCDS than the options in maxidot.

Im in Skoda Friday. The only problem is its not the dealer I got the car from as Stoke Skoda is too far to go. Will ask them to look.

its considered as the "5th door" - hence all doors should also cover the boot.

 

u'll still have to press the button on the boot itself to open it, but it should b unlocked already if all other doors are unlocked.

Its not its locked. I have to press the button on the key amd then the boot will open with the button
