Featured Replies

hi stripped my octavia vrs car yesterday due to not selling,,i think ive picked the wrong time of year or av i put a high price?  i dont really want to give them away but av price them cheaper than most people,  i thought al ask in here to see if the prices are good,, have alook .am a paid member so am not trying to sell in this section ,,thanks for looking,,,happy Christmas :)

Do you have a link to where you are selling so we can see?

Oops, I thought this thread was about Audio Video (ICE) :D

Av?

Its because everybody is breaking them,

There worth nothing as a complete car but there also worth nothing in bits now either because so many are been broken up,

I considered selling mine after christmas but am starting to think i might just take coilovers off it and keep it as there is actually nothing wrong with it apart from an getting abit old for spine breaking suspension and new job means am doing a few more miles in it

its both the wrong time to sell a whole car, or bits. this is why I am holding off selling my old Audi until next spring. The other problem is the market is awash with bits from MK1 VRS's, they are everywhere, its almost got to the point where its pointless to break them.

I'm not trying to be rude, but your lack of punctuation and grammar won't be helping either. I know it doesn't have any direct bearing on the quality and price of the parts you are selling, but people will be more likely to respond to a well written advert.

thats one thing am not good at :wall:

Then take the time to learn. Even if it means doing an evening class, it will be time and money well spent.

Rightly or wrongly, people will judge you on how you communicate. If I got a job application without capital letters at the start of every sentence and a full stop at the end it wouldn't even get read.
