crankcase ventilation

Featured Replies

hi all i just replaced the y piece breather but the pipe that connects to snapped anyone know the part i need part numbers after market is it the lower crankcase the hard pipe snapped

Is this the only pipe section that gets affected by the problem, or should you normally have to buy other bits as well ?

Thanks

Replace the lot all suffers after many years of hot oily gases going through them :-)

cn tuning i got the y pipe from work but now i ordered silicone one and the lower pipe too and while i was at it a welly cooler lol

I had to replace the lot. If i had known about the simplication mod then i would of done that. I saw a golf owner who had done the simplication without the oil catch can too. Is that even viable?

you dont have to have an oil catch can it just helps

well mines getting sorted on wednesday then im booking it in at cn tuning`s

Found a split pipe on mine under the manifold to the t piece from the block. Going to remove the SAI system in the new year and was wondering if there was a simplification with out a catch can that removes/replaces the split hose.

Cool so just need to figure out what's needed gonna do the whole delete thing in prep for a remap so any tips with what size hoses and stuff would be great. Robs pimp my skoda site is great for the how to part of things but could do with a list of parts required.
