Can anyone tell me how to change boost pressure in a vrs?

I'm not right in saying it's done by remapping the ecu? And would I need a new boost sensor to increase it?

yes ecu controlled and just upping the boost on it's own will result in no power gain.

I think your thinking it's like the old 306s where you could manually turn up the fuelling and boost. These are all ecu controlled so it's either a tuning box 90 remap im afraid

Never had a 306 can't stand em there **** cars! Thanks guys I'll get that done after I bolt the new turbo on

Are there any tuning boxes that are any good as in not just a box with a resistor tricking the ecu into thinking the engine is cold?

 Really, the best budget bet is to contact faboka vrs on here and he can do you a remap over email for your car, he has done me a map for my rally car and he is a top guy and backs up his word, think he charges around £100 now but that is same sort of price as a decent digital tuning box would and you have the knowledge that it is safe and within the limits of the engine and turbo.
