Enabling refuel quantity in the maxidot

Featured Replies

I've done this mod in my OIII RS and it seems to work without any problem. I did it with the OBDEleven, as an application it didn't work then I did it through Extended Coding, it worked fine at first... but then... the TPM gave an error which I can't remove at all, well, not exactly at all, I can remove by disabling the TPM which is not my idea.

Anyone found that problem? And the most important thing, does anyone knows how to solve it?

Well, you need to fill the right pressure on the tires, then with the car standing and via infotainment options, reset the TPM to normal values (i.e. Tell it that the current tire pressures are the correct ones) and after that you can go with OBDEleven to reset the TPM error.

This already done, and didn't succeed, the light keeps on :'(

after that you can go with OBDEleven to reset the TPM error.

I'll try later on today to see if I can solve it.

Many thanks!!!

Many thanks Jaco2k but it persists to show error, it returns a U112100 (16776989) error, I'll upload a pic later on because I've got it but only in Spanish ;)

Could it be that through OBDEleven I've added to see some units that my car has not installed and instead of being something between the app it has written something on the car and that's why I'm getting this kind of communication error? It seems that U112100 is just a communication error through some modules...

Maybe it is a silly idea but I'm driving a bit crazy with this yellow light on my eyes permanently

Added this mod at the weekend, said refuel was 35l today changed to 40l and the light came on, when I fueled up it took 42l so at the moment seems to be quite accurate, still not 100% sure of its worth just a nice to have a bit like needle staging :D

John

Not quite what I was asking, I enabled this on my car a couple of months ago and the display on mine showed the refuel quantity in gallons, not litres. I can't see a setting to change it anywhere either.

Sent from my phone so please excuse brevity and spelling

Was it wildly inaccurate, to the tune of US Gallons to Imperial Gallons?

Well, finally I managed to solve it, in the app it shows in coding two places for the TPM and I had both activated, I've just left the one saying BAP on, the other off, and the TPM still shows in Columbus and seems to be working... we'll see!!

  • 7 months later...

Enabled this feature and it is now showing on the display but it is stuck on 10L. Anything else I need to do to activate it?

Hi, I’m trying to switch this on myself but I don’t have the tick box available so how do I do it? I have a 2015 Vrs petrol if that helps
