Hy all, does anyone know to remove the lower air intake grill,l am aware the smaller end grills simply pull out.,is there some fixings keeping the grill in place.

On a pre-face lift vRS the lower grill pulls out in 3 pieces. There are 2 small side covers (with horizontal slats) then the main vertical slats make up the 3rd part of the grill.

They all pull out. I learnt this the hard way after smashing a huge bunny at 70 mph on a dual-carriageway.
