Getting the best out of Meteor Grey?

Featured Replies

Hi all.

Pick her up Saturday and assuming (hoping) the great British weather improves in the near future was planning a top to toe clean of the exterior.

As it's not been around that long I was hoping anyone with a Meteor Grey motor could advise as to what makes them look their best?

I was looking at treating it to some Poorboys White Diamond or is the car a little too dark for that to work well?

Any advice gratefully received...

Poorboys WD is a Glaze.....made for light coloured cars

Poorboys Black Hole ....made for dark coloured cars

IME you can use either
BUT

Glazes are a 'stage' to use to fill swirls and/or add reflectivity to your paintwork

They need 'sealing' in

Poorboys has little durability, so will need topping with a wax or sealer, or both

Poorboys - White Diamond

Poorboy’s World White Diamond Show Glaze for Light Vehicles hides light imperfections and improves gloss to give your vehicle a show car shine! Apply Poorboy’s World White Diamond Show Glaze any time to conceal minor blemishes between details. All white, silver, and light colors will shine like diamonds!

Poorboy’s World White Diamond Show Glaze for Light Vehicles contains gentle cleaners to lift dirt and oil out of fine swirls. By cleaning the swirls, they appear less noticeable. Fillers then conceal the swirls to create the illusion of perfectly smooth paint. Once a wax or sealant is applied, your vehicle will look flawless!

Poorboy’s World White Diamond Show Glaze for Light Vehicles looks incredible on all light colors, and can even be applied to chrome and show plating!

Hi Chris, thank you, I kind of skipped to the big question straight away without explaining that I had what I hope was most of the other stages covered with various products stacked high in the garage.

I was going to EX-P it afterwards.

Appreciate you responding, thanks again.

EX-P compliments it well but don't apply it straight away

It will need some curing time...around 2 hours this time of year..or an hour if youre inside

Ok, noted, thank you.

A wrap would be good

;)

Bacon or cheese?

Are you not thinking of a melt, Chris?

Hi guys.

Thought I would bump this one.

Now a few people have vehicles in this colour, just wondering what you're using to achieve a really good finish?

Many thanks.

M.
