I have just ordered my new Citigo 50ps Elegance Greentech and have been reading this forum to find out more. I also looked at the popular mods forum and saw the DRL light upgrade post from damo. He said to PM him with any questions, but for the life of me I can't find out how to PM a member.

 

Is a DRL what I would call a sidelight? Can the bulbs he recommends be popped into any Citigo or are 'driving lights' an optional extra?

All Citigos have DRLs. They are bright, small lights that come on automatically when the ignition is on and so are illuminated all the time you are driving. Your rear lights are not on at the same time. If you switch your "side lights" on, your red rears then illuminate and when you switch your headlamp on, the DRLs will dim (they are dual -filament).

Unfortunately, the original lamps are rather yellow....hence, the upgrade, which are much whiter, and look better. Definitely worth doing.

Just click on the members picture space (who you wish to contact) and then click on the send member a message button on the top RHS.

I received the DRL bulbs this morning. Will maybe order some Osram Nightbreaker H4 bulbs too - use them on my Aygo and they're so much better than the bulbs which came with it.

 

Only got to way a few months for the car now :(
