I think I've worn out the search function soooo.....

I came across a nice mesh grille mod on a fab vRS the other day.

Can't remember who did it but it involved the slats being cut out and the mesh wrapped around the back of the grille moulding and fixed with black mastic.

The lower grille was done the same.

I need to find it again. PLEASE!

Do the drl's run off side lights or do you have to wire into an ignition live?

slightly off topic but in regards to the drls above its very simple to wire them to come on with the ignition and go off when you switch on the side/parking lights (if your lamp has a separate parking light of course)

Didn't post pics or anything but did do a little write up about how it was done but looking at "my content" I can't seem to go back further than Jan 2012 and I know it was a very old post.
