We only managed to sort out the back one due to lovely English weather

how did you get on with the fronts?

All fitted and done, just need to settle donw a bit. Need to drive around for about two weeks.

 

I have full laser wheel aligment and Geo booked for my car on the 24th of June.

 

The fornt is lower than it was prior the change. The back is higher. She looks like the car from The Cars Movie

Mine sits like that with the H&R Springs on!

 

 

Operation suspension finished

 

 

This is how she looks now. All done and really happy with it. She's bit lower than she was prior the replaced the old one but not crazy low. 

 

I like the new ST X Coilovers, the handling is better and I think that I can push the car even further now in the corners

We managed to finish early on Saturday so decided to take the car and my bikes for a spin

 

 

 

I know need to wait for the suspension to settle which will take around two weeks and then I'm booked to do the laser wheel aliment and geometry.

 

 

Little update...My car looks bit different now. We went to Poland end of August for two weeks holiday. As I have already mentioned I discovered that lacquer is peeling on my Furby. I did try to speak to Skoda but they refused to help me

 

As I love my car I decided to give it a full re spray...I was quoted quite a lot of money to get it done in the UK so decided to get it done while we were in Poland.

That looks so good!

I then decided that I need to tint my front and rear lights to give me car that mean look. I didn't go bonkers on the actual tint and went wit the lightest smoked ones:

What tinting stuff did you use on the lights. 

Not really sure as I took it to the local place which does car wraps and tints and paid them £60 for all 4 lights

Car looks amazing. Having the roof and mirrors done black makes a huge difference and is something I am contemplating. Good work

I managed to actually finish the inside of my car and really happy with it. Fitted the new flat bottom Monte Carlo Wheel from CitiGo

The wiring was slightly different to my old one but I managed to work this out with some help from the Skoda Owners FB page.

 

Blow are some snaps of my Car being able to carry three MTB bikes. We went to tackle the South Downs Route from Brighton to Eastbourne. We started in sunshine and ended up soaking wet

 

33 miles done, that's was really hard ride but it will definitely help me prepare for the L2B Off Road charity ride I'm doing in September
