I used on of those 5-LED detailing torches as a backlight.

It illuminated the beads really quite well - shame its a bit blurred in areas.

They were a good buy those. Used one the other night to change a tyre on mums van! God send haha!

Exactly one of the uses i thought the LED torches would be ideal for - especially with the magnetic base.

 

I have put one in both our cars, for just that eventuality

Some great beading going on boys!! I nned to do some winter protection on my Superb as it is somewhat behind in the beading stakes. Very flat and irregular!

I was thinking the same with the .:R36 Neil - its not done too many miles recently but beads were suffering.

 

Just needed a good wash and decon - then all it got was a Purity-X top-up through the lance to achieve the beads above!

 

I have some waxes just arrived, which I hope to get time with next week though....

More Sonax BSD magic, not had chance to apply winter wax this year.

 

Applied last week, not washed since it was applied.

Light source a security light.

 

I gave the car a quick clean yesterday. Snow foamed with i-foam and washed with Born to be mild. I gave a few panels a sprits with some Simoniz Detailer wax I had to assist with drying, as the water is very hard here. Pleased with the way the water is running off the bonnet and panels:

This is the rash of larger beads nearest to the windscreen:

The roof didn't get a sprits but the BSD applied some time ago seems to have been revitalised :

Great pics buddy. The Simoniz is doing a belting job there, as well as the BSD which is a must for many peoples detailing bag!

Tidy beading Karl. How old is that layer of wax? It's still going really well isn't it!!

It's actually the new 0102 from definitive with a spritz of KKD Si-Coat on top. Although show edition was still beading very well before 0102 application [emoji106]
